All data is sourced from official Japanese public records and government databases, including the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (経済産業省), the Japan Castle Foundation (公益財団法人日本城郭協会), and the National Tax Agency (国税庁).
Japan holds a wealth of detailed, structured data in public databases — but most of it is only available in Japanese. Japan Unlocked bridges that gap by making these records accessible and searchable in English.
